VCA455W

A star of this website in recent years was Verwood Bus former Crosville VCA455W, as it was one of the few VRs that provided enthusiasts a chance to ride a closed top VR in service. As reported, it was withdrawn from service - not too long after its 30th birthday - with a fault which has since been fixed by the current owner who is making the vehicle available for sale.
With Crosville it was originally numbered DVG455, VCA455W and was first registered 01/09/80. Class 6 MoT to April 2011, excellent tyres but bus needs TLC. In as withdrawn condition from Verwood Bus. Re-manufactered 6LXB fitted (see photos below) in good condition. All systems working. Viewing is strongly recommended but by appointment please with John at john@local2.co.uk .
