July 2014

Classic Bus North West, operating more recently under the Oakwood Travel name, have sold WTG360T for preservation after a long period out of use after returning from Weston Super Mare. It still carries the yellow livery of the Bournemouth to Boscombe venture from 2008.

First Devon & Cornwall
AFJ706T - the former 38706, now owned by the Cornwall Preservation Group, is going on loan to its former owner as a back up vehicle for the current route 300 service which runs daily using one bus between Lands End and St Ives via St Just (as per the old 201 which ran using VRs in 2007). The route itself however is normally in the hands of a Bristol Lodekka however this only operates a certain number of days a week. The route is advertised as a heritage vehicle and *not* open top, though the back up bus to the Lodekka recently has been an open top Volvo Citybus.
AFJ has been repainted in the same green livery it finished its days with First operating in.

June 2014

Glastonbury Music Festival
[to add when information is available] of Chepstow Classic Buses were present during the event.
VDV142S was present in a new blue Croyde Surf Academy livery, similar to AFJ760T which is a static exhibit in Croyde. VDV is spending some time at Croyde this summer taking people from the surf academy to the beach.
Other buses operating at Glastonbury included, but are not limited to, WTG359T (Chepstow dark blue), BJG671V (deep yellow), XJJ653V (plain yellow), XJJ659V (white and orange), CJJ677W (lime).
It was not previously reported but WTG359T was repainted before the *2013 Glastonbury event, previously the detachable roof was a lighter blue than the rest of the body but the entire vehicle was repainted at that time.
Bath Bus Company also provided preserved AHW201V.
